Position Description
Description
  • Assigned specific projects that are entry level to a specific field or profession.
  • Under general supervision.
  • Performs as an apprentice or assistant to a professional.
  • Assist the Corporate Communication Team with a wide variety of internal, external and executive communication via various means such as: written, online, webcasts, text messaging, blogs and other new communication technology
  • Update and maintain CSG Intranet (CSG’s internal website)
  • Provide insight to new and existing technology that can be utilized by the Corporate Communications team
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of companywide newsletter
Qualifications
  • Typically in the process of completing a 4-year college education or has recently completed a degree
  • Must be at least Junior level with a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
  • Typically no previous work experience is required.
  • Although some experience may be required depending on the need of the department.
  • Ideal skills include: Ability to quickly learn and apply basic or new concepts.
  • Solid knowledge of basic principles in specified field or profession.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Skills:
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply basic or new concepts
  • Ability to use and leverage electronic media and social media in the communications arena
  • Desire to write and use new and various forms of electronic media
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Communicate openly and follow-up on issues and concerns immediately

  • Background/Area of Study:
  • Experience and desire to leverage new technology in the communication area a plus
  • In the process of completing a 4-year college education or has recently completed a degree in the Communication field
  • Prefer Sophomore level + for applicants
  • No previous corporate work experience required
